This lawn jockey is a tribute to the legend of Jocko Graves, a 12 year old African-American slave child who gave his life to help Washington's crossing of the Delaware River.
George Washington commissioned a statue erected in the boy's honor, and it became hugely popular over the years since, being erected at plantations up and down the east coast.
